Sunday’s predictable Womens Phillip Lindsay Jersey , yet disappointing performance against the Los Angeles Chargers: Vance Joseph is out. That means change. A lot of it. Some would say it’s a bit overdue, including Chris Harris. Whether you agree or disagree, the 2019 Broncos will look a lot different than this year’s version. There are a lot of veterans who could be released, including guys like Brandon Marshall, Ronald Leary, Emmanuel Sanders, and Darian Stewart. Both Shaq Barrett and Shane Ray are all but certainly gone. Bradley Roby, Matt Paradis, and Shelby Harris all have contract expiring. Some or even all of them could move on as Elway creates cap space and turn the page to a new era. The first part of that is already upon us though Broncos Country, with reports coming out today that the Broncos have requested interviews with a slew of candidates as Elway tries to find the next head coach of the team. While some in the media have said this week’s candidates are weak, I can’t see it. Sunday night I worked to create a coaching primer to look back to as Denver scheduled interviews and I was left with one impression: there are a lot of candidates. Denver Broncos: Who are good head coaching candidates? - Mile High ReportThat doesn’t mean any of them will do just that. With the questions at quarterback, receiver, secondary and offensive line the moves Elway makes this year will have huge ramifications down the road. Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs aren’t going anywhere. If Elway makes the wrong moves this spring it could create a situation where the Broncos, Raiders, and Chargers are basically an AFC East lite for the Andy Reid’s bunch to beat up on. Rue that day John Elway Jersey White , and let’s hope the Duke pulls the trigger on the right kind of moves. Todd McShay calls Drew Lock the Broncos best value pickChristopher Hanewinckel-USA TODAY SportsThe Denver Broncos 2019 NFL Draft class has been overwhelmingly seen as successful with most NFL Draft grades coming in with the higher of marks. The way John Elway was able to navigate the franchise to pick up starters with the first two picks was impressive, but it was his trade up in the second round to select quarterback Drew Lock that made the most headlines.According to Todd McShay of ESPN, the Broncos trade up in the second round to get Lock was the best value pick of the draft for Denver.I agree every step of the way with McShay here. If Denver had selected Lock with the 10th overall pick then the rug would have been pulled out from under Joe Flacco and the team wouldn’t have had much to work with in terms of additional talent out of this draft. Instead, they picked up an extra second round pick and ended up getting two likely starters in Noah Fant and Dalton Risner before they made the move to get Drew Lock.If Lock pans out and becomes the Broncos starter quarterback for a decade, then we’ll see this value pick come to its full fruition. Even so, if Lock ends up going the Paxton Lynch route then the Broncos really didn’t sacrifice much taking the chance where they did in this draft. All in all it was a good weekend for Broncos fans.
