Panerai launches Radiomir Officine PAM01385 limited edition, inspired with the 1935 prototype



Panerai has an interesting history being a watch brand. While the manufacturer has been around for over a century, intended for much of that time it generated watches exclusively for the government, to the point where many of their horological developments were considered armed service secrets. It wasn’t until eventually 1992 that they entered the actual commercial market, and it was not until 1997 that one on the things that started it all, the particular Radiomir watch, became freely available. Now, Panerai debuts a reinterpretation of the beginning military Radiomir prototype through 1935. This is the Panerai Radiomir Officine PAM01385 Limited Model.



Surprisingly, Radiomir has changed very little in virtually 90 years. Putting it close to the new 2023 Radiomir, there is a large number of similarities. The cushion-shaped event, tapered crown and sub dial are all key layout elements that have stood the exam of time.
